About me

My name is Marlene,
I am an artist from Austria, though I am professionally trained as a seamstress, I prefer to call myself an artist, since I enjoy variety and like to work with mixed media.
Creating and making things has been my passion ever since I was  a young girl, especially sewing, drawing & designing. My path led me to fashion school where I attended a 2-year diploma course and learned to sew for manufacturing. 

My current focus lies on historical fashion and creating costumes of all sorts. I am still a huge fashion enthusiat, therefor I also enjoy making modern clothes as well as vintage clothes.
I love to experiment with new techniques, different materials and some almost forgotten crafts.
Besides that, I do love photography as a tool to show my creations in their best light.
